"Last Game" is a really simple and cute manga. Even your rivals can become your friends... or something more meaningful. It started out exactly like Special A-ish. The first chapter really caught my attention and now here I am excited for more. If you're into romance and cute mangas (like I am) this one is perfect.

Yanagi, who is the smartest kid in their class -- the best in tests, track and all in all activities in their class. But when some new student, Kujou, transferred in their class, Yanagi didn′t remain in his top place. She was replaced by Kujou , who is now the best in all activities, though she is not full of herself, unlike Yanagi. They were classmates since Elementary until highschool, and Yanagi seems to have feelings for Kujou, though he is not much aware himself. Yes, Yanagi likes Kujou, but Kujou doesn′t seem to be aware of things called “Love”.

Ten years had passed, they are still school mates even when they are in the University, Yanagi had a girlfriend, but her doesn′t seem like to get over with Kujou. Yanagi declared to Kujou to have their Last Game, that if he can make Kujou realize her feelings, he will put a ring in her ring firnger -- will Kujou realize her feelings for Yanagi ? The story is cute and simple. Though the narration or story-telling is not much good. Because they leaped through a long time, 10 years in only 3 chapters. But, yes, the story is still hand-able, it isn′t boring nor cliche.

The characters are great, and they don′t make me want to kill them, like some characters in Shoujo, Romance manga. Who are seriously meddling in some couples problems. Their personalities really suits them, what was it again ? Their faces are accurate to their traits, for example, Kujou, she is not sociable, and rarely smiles, in short, she doesn′t have that much of an emotion.

I really love the art, it fits the manga type. You can understand what's happening because the drawings are not confusing. The characters are well-drawn, they have good face expressions (you can see how they're feeling only by looking at them) and their clothes are simple and pretty. The art is outstanding when Kujou and Yanagi get romantic at each other, I think the authors put more effort in these pages.

The manga is still ongoing but I'm really enjoying it. I always get excited when a new chapter comes out. Like I said, if you like cute romance mangas, this one is definitely for you.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy gear review

One of the top-selling smartphones of 2013, the Galaxy Note 3, which was considered too big for single-hand use, sold over 10 million units in two months of its launch for its features like S-Pen with the ability to write and draw made it attractive and inspired a melee of top mobile makers to launch similar devices. We at Yahoo spent some time with the device to see if it was worth the hype.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY
The first thing that catches the attention is its out-of-the-box design. Unlike the earlier two plastic-built Note models, the Note 3 flaunts a back panel made of faux leather. The ‘notebook’ design approach makes it attractive. The back panel is easy to remove and replace. The metallic-looking ridge is actually plastic, giving the handset a premium look. The front has a Super AMOLED display with one physical home button and two capacitive touch buttons for menu and back controls. The device is available in Jet Black, Classic White, and Blush Pink.

The full-HD Super AMOLED display has a 1080x1920 pixel resolution, rendering sharp-looking text, images and videos.

SOFTWARE
The Note 3 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and has Samsung's own TouchWiz interface optimized for S Pen. It is powered by Samsung's Exynos 5 Octa 5420 processor.

BATTERY
The Note 3 comes with a Li-Ion 3200 mAh battery. The charging speed has improved considerably as has the standby efficiency. On average, a single charge lasts 8 hours. The microUSB 3.0 offers faster data, transfers and charging.

SIZE & WEIGHT
Despite its larger display, the Note 3 is slightly smaller than its predecessor. It weighs 168g compared to Note 2’s 182.5g. It has only 8.3mm thickness and does not feel heavy in the hand. In terms of pocketability, it fits both back and front pockets.

CAMERA
The Note 3 comes with a 13MP rear and 2.1MP front camera. The camera interface has a few new settings. Though we may not use them daily, but modes such as eraser shot, surround shot, best face, sports mode, animated photo and others come handy on occasions. To the right there is a switch to video button. It can record in 4K for top-quality video. Though the video file sizes are big, they can be easily transferred with microUSB 3.0. On the top right is a collapse menu which is home to shortcuts for technical settings. Here, a user can set auto-stabilization, exposure and social media sharing options.

CONNECTIVITY
Thanks to microUSB 3.0, charging and data transfer have become faster. Though the Note 3 supports wireless charging, it is not built-in and you need to buy accessories separately. The S View cover supports wireless charging and protects the device without making it bulky. The Note 3 with its 3GB RAM and 2.3GHz processor is one of the fastest handsets around.

STORAGE
The Note 3 has a 32GB inbuilt memory, expandable to 64GB with microSD. This large storage helps support 4K video recording and playing advanced games.

S Pen Stylus
The S Pen Stylus is a distinguishing feature in this device. Though you may not use it daily, it is handy for use-cases like sketching, and hand-writing memos and notes on apps like SketchBook for Galaxy, Action Memo and S Note. A great tool for the artistically-inclined.

GALAXY GEAR
With the pace of the mobile market slowing, industry watchers say the next big thing is the smartwatch market. Samsung took it as an opportunity and entered this market quickly with Galaxy Gear. Though there are already some smartwatches around like Pebble and Sony Smartwatch, Samsung brought it out as a paired device with the Note 3.

The smartwatch comes with a charging cradle which includes an integrated NFC to connect with the Note 3. Gear can be set up by tapping the charging cradle to the back of the phone. Gear works as an extension to Note 3 and one can perform certain functions without opening the phone. It comes with an in-built pedometer function, a stopwatch and media controls. It has 4GB of inbuilt storage and a camera. It can also make and receive phone calls—but just for those functions, it is priced at a steep Rs. 23,000.

Finally, we can say that the Galaxy Note 3 is indeed the best phablet phone of 2013. At Rs. 46,900, this device offers most imaginable features expected of a modern world smartphone. But if you are not looking to use all these features, there are other cheaper devices.

Kristen Stewart at 'Camp X Ray' Sundance Premiere

Kristen Stewart braids it up for the premiere of Camp X-Ray during the 2014 Sundance Film Festival held at Eccles Center Theatre on Friday afternoon (January 17) in Park City, Utah.

The 23-year-old actress joined her co-stars Lane Garrison and Payman Maadi, and director/screenwriter Peter Sattler earlier in the day at the Getty Images Portrait Studio at the Village At The Lift.

Camp X-Ray‘s official summary: A young woman joins the military to be part of something bigger than herself and her small-town roots. Instead, she ends up as a new guard at Guantanamo Bay, where her mission is far from black and white. Surrounded by hostile jihadists and aggressive squadmates, she strikes up an unusual friendship with one of the detainees. As two people on opposite sides of a war, they struggle to find their way through the ethical quagmire of Guantanamo Bay. In the process, they form an unlikely bond that changes them both.

Kim Hyun Joong shows 김현중 off his fighter figure in shirtless still cuts for 'Generation of Youth'

Kim Hyun Joong didn't need a stunt man for the action scenes with his fighter figure and determination and went shirtless to show off the fruits of his labor.

He shared, "At first, I tried to make the most sculpted body I could but as I thought about it, I realized there was no exercise equipment and protein supplements in the 1930s that we have today. That is why I just stuck to eating meat and vegetables and made a healthy body in a realistic way. So although you may think 'it's not that great of a body' as you watch my scenes, I hope you will keep in mind that I toned my body in consideration for the generation of the drama."

"For 'Generation of Youth', rather than using a lot of wire-like special equipment for the action scenes, we used our own bodies to clash with one another to fight. As much as my bruises increase after each filming, I think you will be able to feel the realistic action of the 1930s."

'Generation of Youth' is a romantic noir drama set in the 1930s centered around young fighters and their story of love and friendship. It will premiere this week so make sure you tune in to catch the scene above and more!

Miley cyrus fears no one will love her.

Miley Cyrus has been linked to a string of men since ending her engagement to Liam Hemsworth last September, but the singer worries that she will never find someone who truly loves her for herself, insiders claim.

The Wrecking Ball star has been linked to Twilight star Kellan Lutz for the past few months after the pair were spotted sharing the same private jet from the Bahamas to the US late last year. Quizzed on Miley after the flight, Kellan, however, told fans that he was happy and single.

According to sources, Miley, who shrugged off her innocent Disney image in 2012 for a much racier incarnation, is struggling to understand why men dump her.

"Miley has absolutely no self awareness. She doesn't see herself the way guys do," the insider alleges to Life & Style.

The 21-year-old is reported to be keen to find romance despite her wild behaviour, which could be putting potential partners off.

The source added: ''She'd love to be in a relationship - she worries she will never find someone who loves her for who she is - but she's totally unaware of why guys dump her.''

Despite Miley's reported worries, it was recently claimed that the singer was the one who spurned the advances of Kellan - who is said to be keen to hook up.

"They are still friends and might hook up from time to time but she isn’t giving in to him and will not exclusively date him," a source told HollywoodLife.

Taylor Swift reveals her gnarly side with a fierce panther sweater

She routinely kicks off her weekend by sweating it out in a dance studio.

On Saturday she added a little extra excitement to her wardrobe by wearing an oversized hoodie emblazoned with the face of a black Jaguar in attack mode, fangs showing and all.

The 24-year-old seemed to be in good spirits as she was escorted to her ballet session, which is pretty impressive considering her Sweeter Than Fiction song for the film One Chance was snubbed this week by the Oscars nods.

Taylor stuck to her usual ballet flats and black leggings to hug her incredibly slim pins, carrying an elegant black leather handbag on her right arm.

The I Knew You Were Trouble singer wore a splash of red lipstick and pulled her delicate blonde tresses back into a casual ponytail, ready to hit the dance floor.

But the frightening, open-mouthed, snarling panther that sat front and centre on the starlet's hooded sweater threw things a little out of order.
With menacing eyes and enormous sharp pointy teeth, the growling black cat's face warned passers by that Taylor may be pretty and sweet, but she sure does know how to channel her inner ferociousness.

The songstress smiled and giggled her way through the sunny Los Angeles day, apparently tickled by something along the way as she shared a laugh with her team.

She was seen smiling, which would surely put her in good stead for a productive dance practice session.

Taylor is likely to be preparing herself for the upcoming Grammy Awards.

The seven-time Grammy winner's fourth studio record Red is up for album of the year and best country album when the show airs January 26 on CBS.

Her song Begin Again will vie for best country song, and she's up for best country duo/group performance alongside Tim McGraw and Keith Urban on Highway Don't Care.

The Sparks Fly hitmaker will also perform at the Grammy's where the two remaining Beatles, Lorde, Pink, and Katy Perry will also take the stage.

Selena Gomez reveals she gets relationship advice from Katy Perry

Selena Gomez may have Katy Perry to thank for what appears to be an on-again romance with Justin Bieber.

The 21-year-old Come & Get It star described the older singer as the person she turns to for relationship advice in the March issue of Seventeen magazine.

Selena may be on top of the world with a smash album and huge fanbase, but when she needs help in the love department Katy is her go-to gal.

'I actually talked to her about guys who are intimidated by strong girls,' Selena told the magazine.

'I haven’t found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it, and not be threatened by it.'

Selena may have been referring to the 19-year-old Never Say Never singer, with whom she's rumoured to be seeing again after a year-long break.

Emma Watson not concerned about boyfriend's reputation

Harry Potter star Emma Watson is reportedly not worried about her new boyfriend Matthew Janney's reputation as a ladies man.

The 23-year-old actress started dating the rugby-playing British hunk since splitting with long term boyfriend Will Adamowicz, and is ignoring her friends' warnings that he is could break her heart, reported Star magazine.

"They had instant chemistry. People have warned Emma about his past, but she doesn't care. She became infatuated with him immediately, and he loves her attention," a source said.

The couple were spotted kissing on a romantic break in the Caribbean earlier this month, and Coralie Day - Matthew's guardian, who has looked after him since the death of both his mother and father from cancer, leaving him orphaned at 16 - says she's 'thrilled' for them both.

"We are thrilled to bits that he is seeing Emma Watson. We are looking forward to meeting her soon. Hats off to her for finding such a wonderful young man. There is nothing bad anyone could say about Matt. He is absolutely lovely," she had said.

Daniel Radcliffe returning to Broadway for third time

Daniel Radcliffe is set to appear on Broadway for a third time, as he reprises the role he played in London’s West End last summer in The Cripple of Inishmaan.

The Harry Potter star, who made his New York theatre debut in a 2008 production of ‘Equus’, will join the rest of the London cast of The Cripple of Inishmaan when it transfers to the US on 20 April for a three-month run.

The play, which was a sell-out when it ran in the West End last summer, follows disabled teenager Billy’s attempt to become a movie star when a Hollywood production is filmed on an island near his Irish home in the 1930s

Paranormal Activity The Marked Ones movie review

This supernatural horror/thriller has two distinctions: it's the first new release of 2014 and another installment in the highly successful, low-budget franchise. Unlike its predecessors, it's not set in a haunted house in middle-class WASPy suburbia. Instead, the story shifts into a working-class Latino apartment complex in southern California -- with an ethnically diverse cast of characters.

It begins as Jesse (Jorge Diaz), a recent Oxnard High School graduate, awakens to find an odd bite mark on his arm. Pretty soon, he's experiencing some extraordinary powers, like the ability to levitate himself and others, along with inexplicable mood swings. This mystery coincides with the sudden death of Jesse's downstairs neighbor, reclusive Anna (Gloria Sandoval), whom many suspect was part of a coven of witches performing Santeria blood rituals. Curious, Jesse and his friend Hector (Jorge Diaz) peeked into Anna's apartment after the police left, unearthing her collection of occult artifacts and documenting their discoveries with Jesse's new camera. When Hector and Jesse's sister, Marisol (Gabrielle Walsh), become increasingly concerned about Jesse's transformation and increasing inability to control his violent temper, they consult Ali (Molly Ephraim), who recognizes the telltale symptoms of demonic possession. And so it goes.

Screenwriter Christopher Landon, who contributed to earlier sequels, directs, and it's certainly a step up from the last chapter, "Paranormal Activity 4," which was truly disappointing. One of the elements introduced this time `round is the sinister use of Simon, an electronic Milton Bradley game, which begins answering yes/no questions like a Ouija board. Fittingly, in the finale, it adds to and expands the previous mythology, as a harbinger of "Paranormal Activity 5," which is scheduled for an October release.

For those who have forgotten or missed the 2009 original, the basic concept is based on "found footage," similar to "The Blair Witch Project," but focusing on various incarnations of a malevolent spirit named Toby.

On the Granger Movie Gauge of 1 to 10, "Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones" is a fright-flick 4, a spin-off that's specifically aimed at adolescent Hispanic chiller/horror fans.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug movie review

Gandalf (McKellen) meets Thorin Oakenshield (Armitage) in the city of Bree and persuades him to pursue his destiny - reclaiming the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor and take the throne. For that, he needs a precious stone hidden in a mountain guarded by a dragon called Smaug (voice: Cumberbatch). He sets out on this quest with Bilbo Baggins (Freeman) and a group of Dwarves.

After Gandalf the wizard convinces Thorin that he needs to embark on the journey, a motley group is assembled, which includes the Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins. Baggins the burglar is the only one with the skill and guile necessary to steal the gem that Thorin needs to reclaim the kingdom - the Arkenstone. However, Baggins does have his own secrets from Gandalf and the gang.

So, they set out on the task, with many stops along the way. For example, at Mirkwood, they encounter giant spiders. They are imprisoned by the Elvenking, Thranduil (Lee Pace). They encounter Orcs and more...

In order to keep the film from dragging, Jackson introduces characters at key points, which keeps the momentum flowing. The return of the dashing Legolas is a welcome one, for he is fantastic. His skill as an archer has never been better, and in battle, he makes pincushions out of his adversaries. The only chink in the armour is the romance track between Tauriel (Evangeline) and Kili (Turner) which is only distracting.

Cumberbatch's deeply sonorous voice gives Smaug a new dimension of malevolence. While the previous instalment of this trilogy was a little slow and low on action, Jackson has now ensured that you'll be transported to another land filled with magic, wonder, danger, mystery and more.

The film is supremely accessible and enjoyable, even if you haven't read Tolkien. And surprisingly enough, to keep things from getting heavy, there are more than a few laugh-aloud moments courtesy the Dwarves. This one's a packed-to-the-gills entertainer from start to finish.

Note: You may not like this film if you don't like action fantasy.

Frozen movie review

Frozen is an endearing fairy tale about two princesses, their dreams, desires, fears, self-discovery and above all, unconditional love for each other.
A 'snow queen' of sorts, Princess Elsa has the power to create snow. Everything she touches turns into ice. A deadly mishap convinces her that she is born with a curse. Ashamed and heart-broken, she distances herself from the world and goes into a self-proclaimed exile. Clumsy and vivacious, younger sister Anna is kept in the dark about Elsa's secret, until their kingdom bears the brunt of it.

Can Anna rescue their kingdom from Elsa's uncontrollable icy powers? Will the sun shine upon their snow-clad kingdom again? Can the two rise above their insecurities and imperfections for the well-being of their people?

Visually stunning and emotionally arresting, Frozen is clearly the best animated film of the year. It's an incredible journey of a brave girl, who sets out to find her sister - the reluctant ice-queen with the help of an adorable snowman and an unconventional 'prince charming'. It is nowhere the 'cliched' fairy-tale, with an archaic view on women. The film introduces the new age Disney princesses, who no longer wait to be rescued. They are brave, uninhibited yet vulnerable and sacrificing. While snow looms over the kingdom, it's the goodness of people that keeps the fire burning. The songs are melodious and meaningful, while the 3D enhances the beauty of it all.

Also, Frozen redefines Disney's quintessential 'true love' theory. Even if you are not into fairy-tales, you'll love this one for it's unpredictable and thus keeps you engaged throughout. It's not about seeking happiness with someone else, but being happy with who you truly are.

There's a lovely line that Olaf, the snowman, says in the film - Some people are worth melting for. Likewise, even if you are not too fond of snow, some love stories are worth freezing for! Do not miss out on this magical journey of love and self-discovery.

"The Hunger Games - Catching Fire" Movie Review

It’s bigger, better, bolder and grander than its predecessor. Catching Fire the second in line of The Hunger Games series digs deep into the richness of its literature bringing to life some of the most gripping combat scenes in the race for survival.

The girl on fire Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and her co-victor Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) are manipulated and thrown back in the pit to play another round of the Hunger Games marking the anniversary called The Quarter Quell where only victors from all districts compete against each other.

While the heart of the film lies in the action, where the contestants kill each other to move on in the competition, Catching Fire spends a lot of time on the periphery gauging the mood of the citizens heralding an inevitable revolution and also gives us a glimpse of Katniss’s vulnerability.

Lawrence takes everything that worked in the first film and amplifies it on a multiplied level to present the story lavishly.

Set decoration, costumes, special effects, background music and the cinematography is top notch.  Unlike other blockbusters that cut to the chase early on, Catching Fire stays true to its material and gradually builds up the tempo.

Early on we watch Katniss devastated and heartbroken as she’s taken away from family and love one more time. Similarly Peeta struggles to keep his emotions in line as he gets to share another round of life and death battle with his accomplice.

The ensemble is superb, particularly the face of the series – Jennifer Lawrence who takes to the role like a duck to the water. Philip Seymour Hoffman and Woody Harrelson make the adventure exciting with their varied performances one the mastermind of the games while the other a tutor.

Among the jungle scenes, those that stand out are the one with the poisonous gas the deadly fight with the baboons.

Those expecting the fireworks to begin early on will be a tad disappointed. Unlike the first, Katniss has to be subdued and mask her emotions for most of the proceeding.

Along the way there is a sense that Lawrence is trying too hard to capture a bit of every chapter in the book and spreading himself too thin in the effort.

The odds are definitely in favour of Catching Fire as it emerges as a strong successor for  one of the most gripping action-adventure tales of our time.
